Exhaust manifold reflector

Did not like the look of the reflector, decided to repaint. The paint is heat-resistant gray (I wanted to do it like from the factory). When baked in the oven, it became bronze. In anticipation that in the spring it will already begin to peel off, but this does not matter - the paint is still left)))

Handbrake, unexpectedly

Good day everyone. Everything was fine with Ravchik, we drove, changed the oil and nothing more. But this trouble happened on the road, namely on a deaf broken highway connecting the city, not leading to the capital of Kazakhstan.

I bought new lockers, immediately rolled them up with a vibra, just covered up the arch and smeared it all with mastic, now it's quieter.

#9 Fuel gauge (partially resolved)

Good day! Nevertheless, I decided to try to figure out that the fuel arrow lies at the very bottom of the pointer. There are two fuel gauges on this car. So, on an additional sensor of two wires, one fell off, soldered it in place, nothing has changed. I measured the resistance with a tester, which showed about 18th. What exactly should be the resistance, I did not know. Power was supplied, but very little: in the region of 6 volts. I rang the wires to the instrument panel — everything is intact. I disassembled the tidy: the appearance of the indicator windings is unburned, I measured the resistance of the indicator coils (I took the resistance from the temperature indicator in comparison) - everything is also in order. Collected everything back, on this work stopped for six months, or even more. Had free time, I decided all the same to finish this fuel arrow. I took both rheostats out of the tank. Half-filled the body of the additional rheostat

Elimination of a childhood illness in the form of a leaking roof.

Even before buying a car, at the moment of choice, I came across a video about the fact that the roof in the rafts is leaking. Well, another entry the other day about a similar problem, plus a fairly warm day, prompted me to upgrade this node, in advance, until it started leaking and I had to solve problems with a damaged ceiling.

Partial oil change in automatic transmission

After a complete replacement, 2 years and almost 20,000 km passed, in the process of a complete replacement, it turned out that I didn’t have enough 12 liters and the oil continued to pour a little dirty, it was recommended to change it partially after a couple of thousand km, but there was no money at that time and I drove like this, I picked up the moment when there would be a free place in the service and changed it myself, I bought a little 4l, a pan gasket, a drain plug washer, an automatic transmission filter o-ring (I have a mesh filter, so I just washed it), there was not much dirt, to the gearbox before replacing questions it wasn’t there either, it works clearly, I didn’t notice much difference after the replacement, maybe it became softer to switch. I just changed the left drive seal right away, the fogging has been for a long time, but not critical.
